Schooling during a Pandemic - Schedule

Image
A little background before going into this topic. I've been homeschooling my girls for about 5  years now. I don't know it all but what I have learn from trial and error I am more than willing to share it with you all. So go into this post with an open mind and heart. And know that this is just how we do it, everyone is different and everyone's schedule does not have to be exactly the same to work..          With so many schools closing because of COVID-19, it put a lot of parents in a pickle as they were so rapidly introduce to the term "homeschooling". Local schools are offering online classes and zoom to interact with the classmates, which is great to see!          But with the change comes the headache on how to get some type of discipline and order in your home. With that being said, I have notice that my children, personally, do better when they know what is expected of them. S ometimes it is calming to have a schedule or semi schedule.
